For years, Robin Bigwood wrote a fantastic monthly technique column in SoundOnSound that picked Digital Performer apart bit by bit and was an immense help to me when I was first starting out with DP or when a new version came along and was loaded with a raft of great but impenetrable new features. SoS decided that since only 8 people in the UK use DP, they were going to can the ‘guaranteed’ monthly slot and rotate it with other less major platforms like Sonar, Reason etc. However, it soon got forgotten altogether and I stopped my subscription as a result. Robin however, has posted all his great tech articles on his blog and they are a brilliant resource for any other serious DP users.
