Apple’s definitive guidelines for mastering for iTunes distribution. I’ve used the -1dB basis for a long time to prevent ‘hot conversion clipping’ but there’s some useful stuff in here about over-compressed masters falling foul of SoundCheck, new AACPlus format, etc
